Andrew Jefford: Pale green-gold in color. I love the aromas of this wine, though they are markedly different from the run of the field: lots of hawthorn and freshly mown hay, almost as if it was a fresh young white Hermitage. Little leaf or citrus; zero gooseberry or asparagus; zero thiols. On the palate, there is some of the width that comes from light oxidation (though this oxidation shows up more clearly in organoleptic terms than in terms of color for some reason). Crisp—more limestone pebble than flint for me; moderate concentration. Lots of Sauvignon character in the flavor-saturated acidity. Unusual; an analytical varietal taster wouldn’t have much time for this wine, but I like it 14.5
Andreas Larsson: The nose is offering hints of chamomile and grape skins, the palate is on the lighter side, clearly indicating some degree of skin contact, quite a high level of bitterness and a young pronounced acidity; feels a bit hollow and one-dimensional 10.5
Stephan Reinhardt: Pale color. Melting bonbons on the nose, but very shy—spicy rather than fruity. Rustic and bitter on the palate, this is a rural wine that I do not want to have in my glass even on holiday in the countryside. Sorry 10.5
