Stephen Brook: Deep red. Curious red-fruit nose, with a slight herbaceousness. Medium-bodied and rather slight, though the sleek texture is appealing. There’s a distinct greenness here that gives the palate an uncomfortable cut and a dry finish 13

Alex Hunt: On the nose, rich yet neat—more berries than plums. The palate is a bit boomy; it needs some brightness and lift. The length is good, but the flavors are relatively simple and indistinct 14

Anthony Rose: This is rather pale and light in color, but there’s a little more depth on the nose than the color would suggest and quite an evolved bouquet. It’s light, slightly peppery and juicy on the palate, the fruit being savory, with an almost Italianate acidity and the finish somewhat rustic and drying 15
