Andrew Jefford: Graceful light to mid-gold. Graceful, fresh, light, sweet, softly lemony, with lots of teasing aromatic charm: banana, crème anglaise, nougat. Pretty. Complex, vivid, expressive, and poised on the palate, with sustained ripe acidity and plenty of structural force; the aromatics lift off your warm tongue agreeably. Some zest in the finish. Very intelligently conceived and rendered. Not the overall wealth of the very finest wines in the tasting, but one of the most aromatically intriguing. 90
Andreas Larsson: An intense nose, some development and a certain complexity, rather exotic, with saffron, roasted nuts, ripe stone-fruit and papaya. The structure is rather bold and grippy, but there’s still a fine drinkability and freshness; a hint of toastiness in the background, layers of fruit, a noticeable but not intrusive alcohol, and a long, lingering finish; surely not a lightweight but well balanced. 87
Jancis Robinson: Pale greenish gold. Sweet and mildly dusty on the nose. Some fresh, attractive, and pretty high-acid fruit flavors, with citrus the dominant element. Correct rather than compelling. Rather hot finish. Drink 2013–16. 87
