Andrew Jefford: Deep, saturated black-red. The aromas are restrained and subdued, but there’s ample wealth and warmth apparent, and I’m confident they will blossom. Deep, searching, rich, and ripe on the palate. The vintage is evident in the wine’s dimensions (it’s not particularly expansive), but the ripeness is impeccable, and there will be huge enjoyment here. Balanced, soft tannins provide a little support. 2017–23. 90

Michael Schuster: Fine nose of ripe blackcurrant and light gravel aromas; full, fresh, quite rich, gently tannic; satisfyingly flavory, a brisk juiciness with a nice length. Good, solid, satisfying. 2018–24. 88
