Andrew Jefford: Deep, dark black-red in color. Lots of roughcut blackcurrant and a ladleful of veal stock, too: appetizing and typical of St-Estèphe. Fresh, light, smooth, currant, and long, with remarkable poise and finesse for this level: lovely fresh, svelte, poised classicism. A perfect buy for the valueconscious claret lover or the sommelier looking for an elegant young St-Estèphe. 2018–22. 91
Michael Schuster: Fine, stylish nose, ripe, gently complex, mineral-tinged; nicely concentrated, elegant, medium-full wine, fresh, and with very polished tannins; ripe, sweet cassis flavors, nice fruit core, gentle complexity, good length across the palate and aftertaste. Complete, stylish, refined cru bourgeois. Lovely wine, accessible early, should age well and gracefully. 2019–28+. 89
