Jesús Barquín: Pale yellow. The nose is fruit-driven, withnotes that foreshadow excessive sugar levels formy taste, subsequently confirmed on the palate.Slightly drying finish. 81
Andrew Jefford: Full green-gold, with a vigorous, steadymousse. Lots of grass and plant scents here, warm, very carefully defined, attractive. Aftera while in the glass, though, it loses its warmintricacy and becomes a little monotonous. On the palate, the wine is full, firm, broad, structured, and long, with an intrinsic sweetnessto it that has nothing to do with sugar; it’s ripeand pure. A wine I’d love to drink, in truth, withoutthe strenuous, early-picked acidity that can leaverawness in some Cavas. Aromatically, however, itis not showing well, hence a lower score than thepalate alone might have merited. 84
Andreas Larsson: Pale and bright straw color, with a vividmousse. Pure nose, displaying floral notes, chamomile, with lime and lemon zest. Good gripon the palate, the creaminess adding to a roundedtexture, but there’s still good bite and freshness, balanced acidity, and barely ripe yellow fruitwith some nutty notes. Quite light in weight butbalanced by well-preserved freshness and decentpersistence: currently very drinkable. 87
