Andrew Jefford: Deep, dark black-red. Beautifully poised, elegant, sweet-toned, tea-leaf-fresh blackcurrant fruit without a hint of raw greenness, and with the cologne elegance that marks out the really classy Médoc wines: bravo! Vivid, spicy, and fresh: a palate of huge energy and liveliness, and remarkable aromatic complexity, too. An excellent effort. What it doesn’t quite have is any sense of plumpness (which some wines have managed, and which I like), nor does it have any notable textural dimension; it runs on that fruit. But the fruit is really classy and first-rate. 2018–24. 92

Michael Schuster: Tight, fresh, closed, gravelly; elegantly balanced, nice concentration, fine, firm tannin; sweet core fruit, lightly mineral-infused, long and aromatic to taste, long and flavory to finish, still with years in hand. 2024–35+. 91
