Andrew Jefford: Deep, dark black-red. Earthy, oaky, gently woody nose, with plenty of orange-garden, nightin- Tunisia perfume. On the palate, the wine has plenty of depth and some textural richness, too. The fruit is perfumed and lifted, and there’s a long, spice-laden finish. Yet as always with Margaux in this vintage, the acidity is very much driving and structural, and quite hard to escape from. A very good Margaux nonetheless. 2018–23. 90
Michael Schuster: Light, sweet, red-fruit and gravelly nose; medium-full, crisp, and finely tannic; ripe red fruit in flavor, some complexity and length across the palate in a leaner style, not bad, but a touch of austerity. Wait a few years. 2020–30. 87
