Andrew Jefford: Deep, opaque black-red. Warm, fleshy, and vivid, but subtle, too, with a lovely toasty teased ripeness. Rich, vivid, supple, and warm, with ample length and depth; some finishing spice. Jeez, this is such a classy wine! It’s not fat, plump, or generous, but it has lovely grain and contour and aromatic nuance. Super stuff: well done. 2018–25. 91
Michael Schuster: Freshly sweet, ripe fruit alongside a light oakcedar; fairly full, concentrated Margaux, fresh, very firm in tannin; fine, sweetly ripe, juicy fruit within a firm fruit and oak tannin, long and aromatic and complex to taste, and long and fragrant to finish. Fine Margaux in a slightly more muscular style, long-term but full of promise. 2026–40+. 92
