Andrew Jefford: Deep, dark black-red. Earthy, warm, dark, refined, smouldering: smoke and coal dust and dark black fruits. Excellent aromatic profile. Vivid, lively, fresh wine, with plenty of textural and fruited depths, too. Someone has gone to great trouble here, and while it will never have the serious-vintage warmth and resonance to it, this is a wine that will last well and is built on a truly excellent fruit core of impeccably judged ripeness. An outstanding St-Emilion for this vintage. Bravo! 2018–26. 92
