Andrew Jefford: Deep, though not opaque black-red. Sweet, plump, and rich, with an almost yeasty fullness. Lots of vivid black-cherry fruit here. On the palate, this is soft, rich, sumptuously textured and perfumed, lush and mouth-filling, with very pure sustained fruit and ample fine-grained tannins. Exemplary work. All that is missing is some sense of warmth and grandeur to that fruit. It dominates the core of this beautifully crafted wine, but it remains cool and distant and aloof. 2018–25. 92
