Andrew Jefford: Dark black-red. Lots of clay soil on the nose: slabby, with slightly raisiny fruit, but it has its own excitement nonetheless. On the palate, it is vivid, soft, rich, spicy, and long. A little elemental and perhaps simple compared to the best of its peers, but very well-crafted wine. 2018–22. 89
