Andrew Jefford: Deep, dark saturated black-red. A little bit decadent in its dropping, almost rotty ripeness, but all the same this is very gratifying and lush and exciting to smell. On the palate, you have the super-lush ripeness and richness that the nose promised, allied to moderate concentration and poise and delicious gratificatory lushness, some super tannins, and general low-acid sensual milky blowout. A gorgeous sort of simple wine for relatively swift drinking. Don’t store—just drink and enjoy, and you won’t be disappointed unless you’re one of those crazed intellectuals who wants pain and acidity and masochism! 2018–21. 90
