Michael Schuster: Fine citrus and cedar oak nose; elegantly balanced Chassagne of moderate concentration and fresh acidity; typical Carillon purity of flavor, but overall a very gentle expression of the terroir, with a slight feeling of dilution; finesse yes, but definition and complexity limited, lacking in intensity and scope for a Perrières. Good, but not special, and, as seems to be the case with many 2005 whites, for relatively early drinking. Now–2014.
