BUY THE WINE

Tim Atkin: Mid ruby/purple rim. Big, aromatic, perfumed, violet nose. Sweet fruit, good use of oak; stylish, complex, but still young. Modern, silky tannins, good length. Lovely wine with fine integration. 17.5

Alex Hunt: Very aromatic: fresh black fruit, jasmine, spices. Great nose. Very spicy—peppery—on the palate, with a lot of vigor and good weight of fruit behind it. Really characterful wine. 16.5

Anthony Rose: Deep-colored, with a slight garnet edge to it. Slightly spicy, camphory note to the aromas. An evolved and leathery fruit quality, supple tannins. Perfectly drinkable, juicy, and approachable but needs drinking now. 14
