Tim Atkin: Mid-ruby/purple. There is no obvious development. Aromatic, oaky, if a little simple and fruity. Lots of color and flavor, just a tad one-dimensional. Acidic finish. 13.5

Alex Hunt: Curious nose—sweet and sour—with roasted tomatoes and brown sauce next to the cassis fruit. Plump and very nicely balanced on the palate, with plenty of fresh acidity, tannins in good proportion, and fruit winning through on the finish. Idiosyncratic, but it works. 16

Anthony Rose: Good, intense, vivid youthful ruby. Fine fresh, mulberry-fruit aromas, good vibrant fresh red- and black-fruit flavor; juicy, opulent, sweet, concentrated fruit, with well-integrated, rounded oak, supple tannins, and overall fine balance. 16.5
