BUY THE WINE

Tim Atkin: Youthful purple. Heady, aromatic nose. Lots of oak and sweet fruit. Still a baby. Oaky but balanced and with aging potential. Harmonious, nice fruit sweetness, smooth tannins, good oak integration and length. 17.5

Alex Hunt: Quite complex mixed berry fruit on the nose, with spicy evolution. The palate, however, shows a toffeeish wood character that makes the wine seem rather sticky and sweet—the fruit is sacrificed. 11.5

Anthony Rose: Still youthful in color, there’s a sweetness of aroma and berry fruit on the front and mid-palate, nicely integrated oak and well-balanced tannins, and acidity with good, richly concentrated fruit quality overall. Impressively holding fort at this age, this is a very well-crafted red with lots going for it. 17
