Tim Atkin: Mid ruby/purple. Some development at the rim. Red-fruit and oak nose with the unmistakable pong of high alcohol, too. Well-handled oak on the palate; textured, sweetish, ripe fruit. Decently made. 14

Alex Hunt: Pretty strawberry and cassis aromas, with a floral lift. Quite tightly focused palate, with acidity keeping it all in check. 14.5

Anthony Rose: Vivid, seamlessly fresh and aromatic, with smoky camphor-like notes. Good, ripe, seamless, and vibrant fruit quality—not a blockbuster, but all the better for it in terms of approachable, juicy, dark-berry-fruit quality. Seamless tannins and nice freshness, finishing with a slightly rustic feel. 15
