Tim Atkin: Deep purple-rimmed color. Closed, unexpressive nose. Baked, pruney palate. Very dry, hard finish. Disappointing. 8

Alex Hunt: Some roasted fall-fruit character. Quite tannic, though the tannins are fine-textured, and a very dry finish. Could this have been better drunk sooner? On returning to the glass, there is noticeable oxidation. 11

Anthony Rose: Good, vivid color. Perfumed, with a nicely evolved red-berry-fruit quality, juicy and ripe on the nose. A refreshingly drinkable wine, with attractive red-fruit flavors, juicy, fresh acidity, and supple tannins. Easy-drinking and nicely rounded, and overall well balanced and fruity. A good, classic Argentinian red with the legs to go on a little yet. 16
