Michael Schuster: Mid-purple; scented, minerally red fruit; well-balanced middleweight in a crisp, linear style, with a fine, dry tannin. Premier cru just, but in a fairly austere style (reminds me of ’96!—not a bad thing, but need to acknowledge). Very fair value, but not a top premier cru. Drink 2012–18 .
