Jesús Barquín: Pale gold. Stewed vegetables on the nose, echoed on the palate, especially the finish. Ripe fruit, but no finesse. 82

Andrew Jefford: Bright mid-gold. Simple, rather sweet, must-like aromas; then a relatively flat and unleavened palate. There are some secondary palate pleasures to enjoy: a grainy, creamy, textural development, and I like those things very much. But the primary fruit quality really needs to sing a little more for the wine to win a top score. 81

Richard Mayson: Deep old gold in color; rich, mature, savory complexity, with a touch of toffee and honey on the nose; lovely, full, savory-toasty flavors backed by fresh acidity and showing good depth mid-palate and on to the finish. Lovely, mature, savory length, with freshness keeping it going. 92
