Jesús Barquín: Very pale. A hint of sulfur dioxide first, the ripe fruit underneath, with a similar palate. Barely more than correct. 80

Andrew Jefford: Very pale gold. Lots of creamy grace and charm on the nose here; secondary already but amply refined. A southern cousin of white Graves. This is very much the style of the palate, too: complex, developed fruit, with subtle barrel and lees work to clothe the wine in cream. Nonetheless, the acidity is fresh, and the wine has plenty of lift. No chance of going into adjectival overdrive, but we are all here to be surrogate drinkers, and this would drink very well indeed. A beautiful example of the restrained and youthful style. 89

Richard Mayson: Simple stony apple fruit on the nose; similarly fresh, clean and appley on the palate, with not much else to say about it; fresh French Golden Delicious sort of finish. 81
