Jesús Barquín: Very pale. The nose displays aniseed notes, dominated by subtle oak presence. Oak also overpowers the palate fruit, not because it’s particularly overoaked but because it falls a little short in the fruit department. 86

Andrew Jefford: Pale white gold. A shy scent of green beans and fennel; smells early ripe rather than fully ripe. Clean, vinous, structured, and unflamboyant. Nothing on the palate to suggest underripeness, in fact; this is enjoyable, well-crafted white Rioja, if discreet in style. 83

Richard Mayson: Pale straw in color. A rather bland bouquet, giving very little away; soft, with a hint of bruised apples toward a crisp finish but very neutral, and at least for now with little or no character for which to award it many marks! 80
