BUY THE WINE

Andrew Jefford: Full gold. Soft, honeyed, and rich aromas: honey, tobacco, honeysuckle, and other hedgerow flowers. Intricate and refined: impressive aromatic profile. On the palate, this wine is a little more forceful and onedimensional than the aromas suggested it would be, with quite hard acidity. Behind that hardness, though, is impressive complexity, wealth, and depth of flavor, with lots of secondary richness to enjoy: a serious contender. 83

Andreas Larsson: The color and the nose both show a clear development; slightly balmy aromas like resin and mint, with honey and cooked fruit. The palate is broad and bold, with mild acidity, present alcohol, and dried fruit; it has quite a lot of up-front opulence but not a lot of freshness or finish. Should perhaps have been drunk already. 76
