Essi Avellan: Deep, dark golden color. Strange, old, oxidizing apple and raisin nose. Unclean, weak feel to the fruit. Bad, drying finish. Has not stood the test of time well. 15

Simon Field: A generous slightly caramelized nose, with hints of jambon cru and leather. The palate is tired, maybe a little faulty... 12

Tom Stevenson: Deep gold color, with oxidation issues on the nose, with a cloying finish, but the second bottle was badly corked. 7 (6 months post disgorgement, tasted 2014; 12%; 4.5g/l dosage; 30mg/l total SO2)
