SR | There are ripe and intense but elegant and refined fruit aromas, intertwined with delicate flinty and lemony notes on this deep and complex 2019 Schlossberg. Full-bodied, rich, and ripe but also savory and crystaline on the palate, this 2019 represents another sunny vintage, with a supple body, dense texture of a very ripe and intense fruit, fine tannins and salinity, and a somewhat bitter finish. 91
AJ | Pale silver-gold. Fresh and clean, delicately limey, with some leafiness behind. Pretty if a little shy at this stage. Clean and fresh, quite dry and sinewy, too. The fruit is much less expansive than for many, and I don't get much sense of stoniness either. It seems to me like another relatively early pick; for Schlossberg, read "taut." 87
AR | A bright, greeny lemon in color, this has an engagingly fresh lime-citrusy perfume, very much on point for Riesling; after an initial hit of gently refreshing spritz on the tongue, the fruit is nicely concentrated, pure, and full-bodied, retaining the essential elements throughout with a seamless texture, and balanced by a refreshingly zesty, lime-like quality, leading to an elegant and lipsmackingly dry finish. Mineral? Yes. This one has it. 93
