SF | Straw-silver color; quite a modest mousse. Hedgerow aromas, peat and nutmeg; strident but not overweening acidity, linear rather than broad, ultimately, the phenols perhaps too intrusive in what was intended to be a light, diaphanous structure. Light-strike? Something not quite right. 89
EA | First bottle: light-strike. Second bottle seems better but still not aromatically wholly pure. Soft, with appley fruit. Soft and round palate, with fruity voluptuousness. A tad too sweet a finish. 2023–29. 90
TH | Creamy yellow-apple and apricot aromas here, with some floral white peach and pear notes. Plenty of lemon and pear Chardonnay focus on the palate, which maintains some of the tangy energy of the year. The aromatics here appear to be marked by clear glass. 87
