SF | Rich deep vermillion with an upstanding aromatic, regal and resourceful; spice, musk and gentle wood tannins, echoed on the palate which is an archetype of Margaux composure, deft, sinewy and elementally elegant. Challenging but generous on the finish, a weave of understated charm and potential. 92
AJ | Deep though not saturated black-red. Warm, fresh and classy overall, though without the aromatic finesse of some of its peers. Rounded and appetising. Smooth and bright, with a little less evident ripeness than for many; there's a cool, fresh breeze blowing through the fruits here. Curranty and appetising.Drink Dates: 2024 - 2032. 90
MS | A sweet, persistent fruit, alongside a subtle gravel character to smell, refined, scented, impressive; a concentrated medium full wine, nicely defined by its acidity, finely dry in tannin; freshly, sweetly ripe, long and complex to taste, aromatic, racy, sustained, and very persistent to finish. A wine of considerable class, very Margaux in its overall delicacy, a succulence of flavour within the slightly oak-dry texture. Plenty there, but ideally leave a decade. Drink Dates: 2030 - 2050+. 93
