Chateau La Tour Figeac Saint-Emilion Bordeaux France 2019 (14.5% ABV) — 91.5
SF | Deep ruby, with a hint of russet at the rim. A very attractive nose of cassis, soft earth, plums and griotte. The fruit is equally expressive on the palate, pure of definition and well framed by the acidity which is assertive but in not way domineering. The tannins are ripe and eloquent. A very successful outing from La Tour Figeac. 92
MS | A very sweet, fragrantly fruity, persistent and attractive nose; fairly full, supple, very finely tannic, beautifully balanced; sweet cored, graceful, flowing, with a polished texture, a delicious flavour, a nice fragrant complexity and good length. A most drinkable harmonious whole. A great success, lovely beverage St Emilion. A little star. Pleasurable already, but with the constitution and harmony to age very well too. Drink Dates: 2025 - 2040+. 91
