AJ | Dense, saturated, opaque, midnight black-red, Earthy, warm, rich and resourceful: very impressive. Real freshness here as well as ample ripeness: chunky yet appetising fruits. This is very much what you'll find on the palate, and this wine certainly needs a year or two to settle down: lively, thrusting, multi-dimensioned and exciting, if a little rough-and-ready for the time being. A ton to enjoy, though.Drink Dates: 2024 - 2033. 91
MS | Dark ripe fruit, sweet, persistent, a touch oaky; medium full, supple to fresh, moderately tannic; the vanilla tinged black cherry fruit there on the nose is present on the palate too, a warm, slightly wood-hardened, attractively juicy flavour of moderate complexity and good, fruit fragrant length. A few years bottle age will likely mellow this nicely. Drink Dates: 2028 - 2038+. 90
