AJ | Dark, deep black-red though not quite saturatedly so. The classic woodland menthol of Pessac-Leognan in evidence on the aromas, here, in fresh and enticing style. Absolutely so on the palate, too: a graceful, fresh forest sylph of a wine, svelte and darting but with plenty of mouth-watering charm.Drink Dates: 2024 - 2030. 89
MS | Discreetly gravelly, light red-fruited, very Graves, in character, to smell; medium full, fresh, lightly tannic; lightly, freshly ripe in fruit, gently juicy, attractively long in flavour for a Second wine, easy, harmonious, gently fruit-and-aroma persistent. A lovely, lighter expression of the origin which you could drink with pleasure already, but which clearly has plenty of time in hand too. Nice. Classic. Drink Dates: 2024 - 2037+. 90
