AJ | Dark, dense black-red. Sweet, ample, open, with ripe currant fruits just shaded by a little sweet anis. Soft-textured and lightly fruited, though with the concentration of the vintage. Straightforward, bright and edgy Medoc without a lot of bass support, but with driving and acid-backed fruits.Drink Dates: 2024 - 2029. 88
MS | Both sweetly berry fruit ripe, subtly gravelly and with that intriguing, and slightly noble-herbal, almost musky character; medium full, fresh to brisk in acidity, lightly tannic; finely wrought second wine, pure, St Julien elegant, fully but freshly ripe to taste with a modest complexity and nice fruit persistence. Very attractive, very St Julien. Drinkable soon, but no hurry either.Drink Dates: 2025 - 2036+. 90
