AJ | Bright, clear luminous garnet red. Sweet strawberry, cranberry and pomegranate fruits, glowing and allusive. A firmer woodland tug beneath. Ample resource of warm, structured, searching and authoritative fruit here. Not quite a craggy wine, but the contours are firm. A dry, long, warm and aromatic finish for this concentrated and satisfying wine.Drink Dates: 2024 - 2034. 91
BB | Garnet to pink. Touch closed, road tar, black and red fruits nose, some forest undergrowth. Muscular and firm palate, touch rustic at this stage with black fruits, firm tannins, touch bitter finish.Drink Dates: 2025 - 2035. 88
MP | Ripe red and black fruit with raspberry, mulberry, black cherry, plum, liquorice and a hint of woodsmoke. The palate shows very firm, dusty tannins (possibly from new wood) and moderate acidity with high alcohol and a ripe character with some length. The tannins, however, hijack the finish and it's just a little meagre.Drink Dates: 2024 - 2027. 87
