SF | Magenta colour, with only a narrow rim. A distinctive cassis nose, iodine, peat and spring flowers thereafter... poised on the palate, with acidity finely judged and an engaging floral denouement, once again majoring on the theme of blackcurrants. High-toned and heady, but not lacking for appeal and with an impressive structural integrity.. 92
DW | Something herbal, or green, couches the pastille-like fruit; the tannins are a little raw, the finish slightly sweet, hot, sticky.Drink Dates: 2024 - 2030. 85
AR | Still quite deep in colour for a wine that's now eight year old, this seems to me to show the classic Maipo mint and herb in its aromas that you're looking for from this region, and fresh too; there's plenty of sweetly ripe, voluptuously juicy dark fruit tinged with herb when you taste and the tannins and acidity take it then along to parallel lines, one umami-salty seasoning, the other a textural grip which together combine to make an extremely satisfactory, well-made red.Drink Dates: 2024 - 2029. 92
