SF | Modest silvery straw colour, clean, focused. Nose of verbena, seaweed, briary and white tobacco, whispers from the Guadalquivir estuary.....medium intensity on the finish. The palate is marked by intensity and by purity, thereby ensuring an 'authentic' experience without any pitfalls sometimes associated with such personal and, at times idiosyncratic, elevage. Bone dry, with flint and slate beneath the patina of aldehydic rigour. 92
AJ | Pale and translucent; clearly not a Pasada. Fresh, sweet and enticing: deft, engaging. Not powerful or pungent, however. Bright, firm; seizing; correct, if a little dry and bitter at the end. No complaints but not a mind-blower (of which we have a few today).Drink Dates: 2024 - 2025. 86
DW | Box fresh, bright and racy, this youthful Manzanilla is classically styled and youthfully energetic, with a dash of fresh pear and tangy creme fraiche joining the yeasty, salty tang for a very satisfying seafood-friendly wine.Drink Dates: 2024 - 2025. 92
