EA | Lemon gold colour. There is fine depth to the age-complexed nose of vanilla laden whiffs. Cool and crunchy fruit with charred oaky tones underlying the pristine fruitiness. The oak comes across stronger on the silky smooth palate of fine vinosity. Really beautifully acid lined and flowing but the finish has a rubbery notion deducting some from the charmDrink Dates: 2024 - 2030. 92
SF | Straw colour with just a fleck of green; an impressive nose; cloves, chocolate and fig; a seductive nutty finish, betrying both ( relative) age and ( absolute) quality. Finely judged and with an almost sweet concentration of figgy nutty fruit at the end. Architecturally saytisfying, 91
AR | Youthfully pale gold in colour for a champagne over a decade in age, this is showing plenty of inviting, secondary aromas of evolution with an energetic, leesy, toasted brioche character and when you taste , equally, plenty of complex flavours charatcterised by that light, toasted brioche charater and and astonishly lively fresh acidity that borders on the tart, but given the fruit quality here, that tartness takes its place as the building block that holds this wine in place and maintains its ageing potential. .Drink Dates: 2024 - 2028. 92
