SF | Densely saturated, with a nose dominate by oak, dark fruit and soft spice; just a hit of surmaturity etched onto the assessment; the latter confirmed by a palate which is both ambitious and generous, still a little lacking harmony and direction, with a probably unfounded suspicion that the marked citric acidity is not entirely natural. A valiant effort, for all that, tasting well. 91
AJ | Dark, dense black-red. LIvely, fresh, vibrant and vivid, with palpable freshness here giving lift to the cool cherry and plum fruits. Concentrated, vivid fruit in a driving, fresh style, but close-textured and long. Decidedly cool in flavour, despite the 14.5% -- an intriguing feature of this vintage.Drink Dates: 2026 - 2032.
