AJ | Dark, dense saturated black-red. Ample lively, fresh fruit here -- orchard fruits as well as berry fruits. Spiced intrigue, too. There's lots going on in this buzzy wine. Vivid, fresh, open, ample, welcoming and with every last ripe grape grabbed and interrogated for the greater benefit of the whole. It's a super 2021. Maybe not the purest or the most refined, but for sheer honest exuberance it is hard to better this. Just great fun to drink -- super work here. I didn't expect such uncomplicated pleasure from the viticultural nightmare that was 2021. Drink Dates: 2027 - 2035. 90
SF | Densely saturated and with a fulsome nose of coconut, verbena and dark chocolate, this Molin is riche indeed, figs, dates and plums carried in its wake, and a firm slightly unforgiving tannic grip to be negociated. One can certainly commend the ambition here and also the power of the structure. It may take some time to integrate, however and may, indeed, never arrive at the home key. Drink Dates: 2031 - 2039. 90
