Nicolas Belfrage: Medium depth, bright with turn. Attractive berry/waxy nose. Plenty of savory/salty but also fruity/jammy notes on the nose, confirmed on the palate—attractive for drinking now, but better to wait a couple of years. 89
Bruno Besa: Deep garnet to tawny, pink rim. Open, intense, ripe, small red and black-fruit nose and hints of violets and roses. Medium body, slightly green tannins, and a fairly simple finish. 85
Andrew Jefford: Deep, clear black-red. Warm, ripe, attractive, though blind you might almost guess this was a Cabernet-based wine; it has that currantiness, and the woodiness is quite prominent. After time in the glass, the aromas become a little monotonous. Soft, round, and gentle: unambitious wine that lacks something of the purity and asperity that the DOC ideal implies. 76
