Andrew Jefford: Dried mushrooms and flowers over warmed fruits. Graceful architecture of dry cherry and fresh plum, with sweet back notes; spice to finish, and some inner fire, too. All that’s missing is a little bass wealth 15

Michael Schuster: Mid-purple; closed, but clearly minerally nose; well-defined, moderately rich, finely tannic middleweight wine; very ripe-fruited yet always fresh and restrained; long, mineral-backed flavor, with a gentle sinew, quite mouth-filling, and with a long, stony-scented finish. A particularly refined and harmonious example of Corton. Lovely wine. Needs at least 5 years. 2012–25+ 17
