Alison Buchanan: Jet-shot prune in color with deep-olive lights. This has a dark, brooding, somber nose, with hints of olive adding complexity to dried fruits and mocha cream. The palate has a savory, herbaceous quality, caramelized nuts and treacle. Very sweet and succulent at the end of the palate, the finish is clipped with slight sawdust notes. 15

Jesús Barquín: Deep chestnut or light mahogany. The nose is serious and elegant, of great quality. The palate is very sweet and complex, with marmalade and dates notes. Long finish. 17

Julian Jeffs: Mature PX color. Excellent nose. Nicely balanced, with good length, but less age than I would have expected from the nose. 15
