Alison Buchanan: Stone fruits and some citrus fruits come through on the nose here. If there are gooseberries then they are Cape. Rather exotic with some mineral contrasts, the overall balance is a little out of kilter, albeit with a refreshing acidic lift. 14.5

Alex Hunt: Restrained, mineral, slightly vegetal aroma. Surprisingly generous fruit on the palate, though I suspect that this may have been more convincing two years ago: haunted by canned peas in the background. 13.5

Andrew Jefford: Mid pale gold. Dry grasses in the cold wind of winter. Typical, in other words, but beginning to lose its sweet youthful sheen. Incisive and dry, though with some mineral depths to keep the interest sustained. Drink up, though; in a year or two, winter will be well and truly here and all will be bony acidity. 13
