BUY THE WINE

Alison Buchanan: Very honeyed, lanoline woolly nose. The palate is unctuous, fully ripe and seductive yet wonderfully alert, responsive and focused. This has responded well to age with opulent fruit layered with mineral notes and refreshed by still lively acidity...lovely wine. 16.5

Alex Hunt: Muted raspberry jam nose. Inoffensive and still alive, but dilute on the palate and hot on the finish. 11

Andrew Jefford: Mid gold. Slightly burnt, oniony nose initially, clearing to give a quiet prairie freshness. Intense acidity over a gently mineral base. Technically adequate, but the pleasure has gone with all the young-wine foliage. 11.5
