BUY THE WINE

Nicolas Belfrage: Col code 1.5. Apple, pear almost pineapple nose, quite pronounced. Creamy palate, good acidity, hard to fault it yet somehow seems a bit exotic for Soave. Good wine, if not typical. 14

Michael Edwards: Subtly pale color belying a very well-made wine with a terroir sense of the Classico hills. Perfumed, minerally racy and savory on both nose and palate. My idea of good Soave. 17.5

Franco Ziliani: Pale, opaque golden green color. The wine is still in a technical, inexpressive mood, still unbalanced, aggressive with strange herbal Sauvignon notes. Very simple, acidic, without complexity, fruit and richness on the palate. 11
