Tim Atkin: Very deep color. Slightly reduced, smoky, firm, and chewy. Lots of tannin, chewy, tannic, a little dry. Some reduction, quite tannic. Dry. Needs time? Reductive finish. 13

Gerard Basset: Deep ruby-garnet. Moderately pronounced. Sweet spices, plum. Powerful but very ripe, smooth tannin, baked fruit tart; long finish. 17

Anthony Rose: Deep color; very good, intense blackberry-fruit quality, fine, rich, concentrated-fruit quality; youthful, very well-made, intense dark-fruit character; good juicy fruit and fresh acidity, very nicely balanced and well-structured full fruit quality. Well crafted. 17
