Bruno Besa: Garnet to tawny, Mature, slightly oaky nose, with mature black and red fruits and some forest floor. Medium body, with fine tannins, a rather lean palate, and moderate length. 88
Andrew Jefford: Dark black-red; translucent. Sweet, warm, ripe, with the dust of fresh grain. A touch of raisin, too. Articulate and enticing. Which is perhaps unfair: the fruits are clean, and it already has some secondary complexities; there is balance and poise here; lovely drinking before too long. 88
Michael Palij: Attractive red-fruit aromas of cherry, strawberry, and plum, but perhaps lacking some complexity. In the mouth, this is full-bodied and ripe, but it lacks persistence and it pulls up short on the finish. 91Pale ruby to tawny. Refined and complex, with a clear small-red-fruits nose, inviting, mineral, floral, with rosewater, tobacco leaf, and hints of dried herbs and truffles. Medium to full body, elegant, with refined tannins and a clean strawberry and raspberry finish. A beautifully elegant Nebbiolo for mid-term aging. | 91
