Essi Avellan: Pale peachy color. Ripe fruity nose, with apricot and pastry notes. Bright fruitiness at the fore. Fleshy, round palate, with a touch of firming and refreshing phenolics. Finishes on a sweet note. Quaffable and ready to drink. 90
Simon Field: A sandy color, sand catching the sun; rather a precise, regimented bead. The nose disturbs the landscape a little with an abrupt, almost medicinal jolt; herbs and spice, maybe cardamon or white pepper, unusual for sure; restorative energy on the palate, with a measure of red-apple fruit, purity seemingly realigned, although the disjoint between aroma and taste lingers on. 87
Anthony Rose: A pale onion-skin in color, some might even call this a rosé, giving the Pinot game away on color alone; but Pinot comes through strongly in a fragrant aromatic profile, too, of sweetly ripe berries framed by accomplished autolytic notes of nuttiness and light toast; followed in the mouth by an equally alluring mix of fresh, buoyant bubbles carrying flavors of sweetly ripe berries and underpinned by notes of light toast and nuttiness, finishing on a satisfyingly dry note. 95
