Michel Bettane: Lovely nose, with the ethereal elements from perfectly ripe Cabernet, velvety texture, refined tannins, great noble finish, a real aristocrat. Not far from a first growth. 18
Thierry Desseauve: Not spectacular but extremely classy: minty, flowery, fruity aromas, freshness, fine tannins and tense structure, length. Noble wine with a wonderful body. 19
Michael Schuster: A marked vanilla-like new oak to smell, and a fairly new-oak-marked flavor, too; a nice concentration of taste, ripe and complex, with a firm acidity, all within a markedly dry, oak-tannin texture, plus a fine aromatic length of aftertaste; elegant, but this is fairly forbidding at the moment and will require a decade at least to soften. 2024–40. 16.5
