Simon Field | Welcoming buttercup hue, the extract coating the glass flamboyantly, lovely, buttery, creamy texture. Oak slightly domineering, but as a flagstone of quality and demonstration of seriousness of intent, it is neatly expounded, albeit in a slightly modern style. Nothing wrong with that, of course. | 89
Andrew Jefford | Generously colored already: glowing buttercup gold. Orchard-sweet, with lemon verbena and menthol notes for freshness. Attractive, clean-limbed, and intriguing. Exuberant, sweet, and balanced, and qualified not by tropical-fruit lushness but northern- orchard fruits: apple, quince, blueberry. A vibrant balance here, too. Lots to enjoy, though not sumptuous, supple, viscerally appealing or saturated. | 89
