Michel Bettane: Big color, nice toasted nose, more silky than velvety, lots of finesse, pure, showing evident improvement. 17

Thierry Desseauve: Deep color, dark fruit, and a note of young leather on the nose, strawberry in the mouth, fine tannins, very elegant and stylish, freshness, delicate finish. 17.5

Michael Schuster: Savory and faintly herbaceous fruit on the nose; fresh, dry-edged, medium-full wine, with a delicate Margaux fruit core, a fine, subtle, complexity, nice length across the palate, and good length to finish; overall in a slightly austere style for the year and in a slightly old-fashioned style that is not to everyone’s taste, but that said, this is very good. Will need time. 2022–35+. 16.5
